Welcome to B&G Mortuary Service, located in Charlestown, Indiana. B&G is a family-owned and operated Embalming, Removal, Transportation, and Cremation Service provider for area funeral homes and now the general public.
In February of 2023, a decision was made to invest in state-of-the-art cremation equipment, and we began offering affordable cremation services directly to the public. As the funeral business continues to change, and the price of funerals continues to rise, B&G decided to specialize in affordable cremation. Focusing our attention on cremation, not only allows us to provide a higher quality of service, it also helps us control our operating expenses and pass those savings on to the families we serve. We strongly believe in Affordability, Quality, and Simplicity while serving each one of our families with dignity and respect. We will never try to upsell you on goods or services you do not desire. If you are looking for services we are unable to provide, we work closely with other reputable full-service funeral homes that can accommodate your needs in both Indiana and Kentucky. We focus on making sure families get quality service at an affordable price.
Our complete cremation cost with no services or hidden fees starts at $800.00. This cost includes the cremation, removal from the place of death in our local area, alternative container, temporary container, and sales tax.
You can be assured that once we get the call, your loved one will never leave our care. We have the ability to service any area, but our main service area is Clark and Floyd County, Indiana and Jefferson County, Kentucky; anything outside of this area will have an additional fee.
