Tracey Rose (Hahn) Wachter's Obituary

On June 6th, 2024, Tracey Rose Wachter went home to Heaven after a 7 year battle with cancer. She was 60 years old. Many people did not know she had cancer and her passing came as a big shock to many. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, teacher and friend.

Tracey was a member of WAGS Pet Therapy where she visited nursing homes with her dog, Pepper. She was a huge University of Kentucky basketball fan and is probably happy she won't have to watch them play without the coaching of John Calipari. She enjoyed reality television shows, music that wasn't country and her daily power-walks. She always claimed to not be artistic but she loved completing paint by number kits. She was a substitute teacher at Maryhurst and adored every day that she got to work with the girls. Tracey saw herself as a mentor to the girls she interacted with and took her role very seriously.

Tracey was a member of Southeast Christian Church for over 20 years and was the "encourager" in her weekly Bible study. She loved the Lord and constantly thanked God for even the smallest blessings. You never saw Tracey without her nails done or smile on her face. She was a positive person who always tried to help out in any way she could.

Tracey leaves her two daughters, Bailey Wachter and Dr. Hailey Wachter; brother Travis Hahn (Brittany); niece, Willow Hahn; two dogs, Teddy and Pepper; three grand-dogs, Marley, Pippa and Scout (her favorite); and numerous friends and students.

Instead of flowers, please send donations to Maryhurst, WAGS Pet Therapy and Hosparus.
