Russell Davidson Obituary

Russell (Russ) F Davidson II, 81, of Louisville, passed away on July 7, 2024.

Russ was born on March 11, 1943, to Russell Sr and Frances Gabriel who predeceased him along with his sister, Glena Jicha.

Russ had a long career in Finance and his highlight was starting the KY Lottery. Russ loved making people laugh with his stories, betting on the number 6, and spending time at Juniper Club fishing camp.

Russ leaves behind two daughters, Heather Leigh (Justen) and Leigh Frances.

A celebration of life will be held at Selena’s on July 17 from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Hildegard House, an amazing non-profit organization that supported Russ in his final weeks.
