Rhonda Kolberg

Rhonda Kolberg, born January 28, 1966, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025, at the age of 59.  She spent most of her life in Louisville, Kentucky, where she touched the lives of many with her intelligence, quick wit, and deep compassion.

Rhonda had a heart that welcomed everyone. She was known for her empathy, her love for animals, and her unwavering faith in God. She never judged anyone for what they were going through — instead, she met people with kindness, patience, and understanding. Her love and support were freely given to all, no matter their circumstances.

She is survived by her daughter, Megan Jett (Dylan); son, Mathew Kolberg; grandson, Daylen Keltee; mother, Margaret Horsley; sister, Kimberly Vice (Jeff); brother, Ronnie Horsley (Regina)and her nieces and nephews. Though she was not married at the time of her passing, she shared her life and love with Roy Jett, the father of her daughter.

Rhonda’s life was a testament to kindness, strength, and resilience. In honor of her faith, we remember the words of Christ:

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

Her legacy of love, acceptance, and strength will live on in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
