Mary Warren Obituary

Mary Jo Warren, 73 of Charlestown, IN. Passed away peacefully on December 6th, 2024 in her home surrounded by her loving husband and life long friend / sister in law by her side. Mary Jo was born on October 27, 1951 in Fort Wayne Indiana. She lived a life filled with love, warmth and devotion to her husband, family and friends.

Mary Jo is survived by her husband Jim Warren of Charlestown, Indiana, son; Richard (Stephanie) Schneider JR. Daughters;Jennifer Warren, Stephanie(Wes)Parrish; misty Schneider; her cherish grandchildren, Sean, Tori, Brian, Jason Jr, Cassidy, Nathan, Cody, and four beloved great grandchildren, Noah, Justin, Daisey and Dakota. She also leaves behind her siblings Debra Barva, Ronda(Kelvin)Murphy, , Gerald Barva, Ralph Barva, Dan(Debbie)Warren, James Harris as well as many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her son Jason Schneider Sr; her parents Ollie vought and Edward Barva; her father and mother in law Ben and Marie Warren; siblings Steve Barva, Joseph Barva, Lynn Barva, Bobby brokaw; Brother in law Donnie Warren; and sister in law Belinda Briner and great grandson Anthony Jewel Jr.

Mary Jo had a deep love for life’s simple joys. She treasured spending time with her family and friends above all else. Her thoughtfulness knew no bounds, she never missed an opportunity to call or reach out to celebrate a loved one’s special day or milestone. She shared a passion for travel with her husband, Jimmy and delighted in vacations to warm destinations with sandy beaches and sunny weather. These trips created countless cherished memories that she held close to her heart Mary Jo also enjoyed attending concerts with friends and indulging in Mexican food two of the many ways she embrace life’s pleasures.

A creative soul at heart, Mary Jo loved coloring and capturing moments through photography. Her photos were a testament to the joy she found in every day life in the people she loved the most. Her thoughtful nature extended beyond her immediate circle she was known for always thinking of others and making everyone feel valued.

Mary Jo’s Legacy is one of love, kindness, and togetherness. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but fondly remembered for the joy she brought into their life’s may her memories bring comfort to those who mourn her passing.

We plan to have a celebration of her life in Ft Wayne In. On the 16th of March at River lodge pavilion in Shoaf Park. All friends and family are invited, doors open at noon for visitation. Service at 1:30 pm, taco Bar immediately following.

An additional celebration of life will be held in Southern Indiana, for friends and family unable to travel to Ft.Wayne.  PVA office 2835 Holmans Ln, Jeffersonville, April 5th starting at noon ,service at 1:30, food immediately following.
