Mary Ellen
(Lee) Barnett
November 24, 1972 – August 3, 2024
Mary Ellen Barnett was born November 24, 1972, to parents Paul "Mike" and Patty (Clarkston) Lee, who both preceded her in death.
Mary was most known for the passion and love she possessed for her husband, kids, patients, and arguably, most importantly, her grandbabies.
When she wasn't busy chasing all 16 grandbabies around, she could be found at her husband's concerts, forever and always his biggest fan, sitting bedside next to an ailing patient, or feeding the many birds she so dearly loved to admire from the balcony.
From early morning sister phone calls, to enjoying all the glory and wonder the stars and night's sky had to offer with her husband and kids, Mary tried to show love and beauty to all who were blessed to meet her.
In the days before her death, Mary was eager to further her nursing career in a new job as Unit Manager of Infection Control at Hickory Creek, in Scottsburg, IN.
She passed away from a stroke in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her husband's love, in Salem, Indiana.
