Joshua M
T Hayes
October 6, 1998 – February 28, 2026
In Loving Memory of Joshua M T Hayes October 6, 1998 – February 28, 2026 It is with profound sorrow that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Joshua M T Hayes, who left this world on February 28, 2026. In his final moments, Joshua was surrounded by his loved ones, holding close the family who meant everything to him. Joshua was born on October 6, 1998, and throughout his 27 years, he brought light and love to all who knew him. He had a gentle spirit and a heart that found its greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life. An avid fisherman and bowler, Joshua cherished the time spent pursuing these passions. But nothing brought him more happiness than his beloved nephews, Shaine Jr. and Rian. Being an uncle was a role he embraced with wholehearted devotion, and the bond he shared with those boys was immeasurable. Family was the cornerstone of Joshua's life. He treasured every moment spent with his loved ones, especially the time shared with his brother, Shaine. Their connection was one of deep brotherhood and unwavering support. Joshua was preceded in death by his grandfather, Michael Bowman; his great-grandparents, Ray and Lois Sheldon, Ray and Alva Cross, and William and Marjorie Bowman; and his cousin, Kelley. Their memories remained close to his heart throughout his life. He leaves behind a family who will forever carry his memory in their hearts: his father, Patrick Hayes; his mother, Amy Dobies, and her husband, Chris; his brother, Shaine Hayes, and his wife, Amanda; his cherished nephews, Shaine Jr. and Rian; his grandparents; aunts; uncles; and many cousins. Joshua's presence in their lives was a gift, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled. Due to the suddenness of this loss, memorial services will be held at a later date to be determined. The family kindly asks for your understanding and patience as they navigate this incredibly difficult time. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the UofL 5West team, as well as Jennifer and Kate from Network of Hope, for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness they provided during Joshua's final days. Their dedication and support brought comfort when it was needed most. Though Joshua's time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the lives he touched will remain forever. He will be deeply missed and always remembered. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you hold your loved ones a little closer and cherish every moment together.
