James Leon Curtsinger

James Leon Curtsinger, 85, of Taylorsville, Ky passed away on Saturday September 21, 2024 at Landmark of Iroquois Park.

James was born on August 27, 1939 in Bardstown Kentucky to the late Earl and Nellie Curtsinger.

He enjoyed fishing, landscaping, collecting antiques, and spending time with family.

In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by his son, Ronnie Lee Curtsinger and siblings, Gene Curtsinger, Ray Curtsinger, Joe Curtsinger, William Curtsinger, Betty Ann, Curtsinger, Bobby Hardin, Philip Hardin, and Wanda Hardin.

Leon is survived by one son, Jessie James Curtsinger, one daughter, Mary Ann Cortez (Fiddy), and his two brothers, Larry Hardin, James Hardin, and one sister, Martha Curtsinger (Richardson).  Granddaughters include Crystal Samuels (Derek) and Jordan Curtsinger, grandsons Justin Curtsinger and Jacob Cortez, Great Grandchildren, Andrew Curtsinger, Jasmine Samuels, Maci Curtsinger, Chloe Curtsinger, Dollie Curtsinger, Gabby Heady , and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen with graveside service at Valley Cemetery in Taylorsville, Ky Friday September 27, 2024, 4:00 pm -6:00 pm.
