James Robert Bryant

It is with deep sorrow that we must announce our brother, James Robert Bryant ("Jim"), passed away September 26, 2025, at the age of 63.  He was born September 3, 1962.

Jim graduated from Sacred Heart Grade School, Jeffersonville High School, and Indiana University where he studied Accountancy and was a member of the Gymnastics Team.  He was an active member of the Eagles Club, the Moose Lodge, and the Sunnyside Boat Club.

Jim went on to become a Certified Public Accountant.  He performed audits for Housing Authorities throughout Kentucky.  After life in the CPA world, Jim continued to do taxes for his own clients.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, William N. Bryant and Catherine (McCartney) Bryant; and, by sisters, Mary Tina (Bryant) Irwin and Janet Kay (Bryant) Dichlmann.

He is survived by sisters Carolyn E. (Bryant) Ross, Dorothy Elaine (Bryant) Welty, (Jeff), and Catherine E. (Bryant) Trammell; and, by brothers Art C. Bryant (Debbie), William Neal Bryant (Anne), John P. Bryant (Trena), and Charles E. Bryant (Lorlie) as well as 18 nieces and nephews.

Jim will be laid to rest in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Jeffersonville.  A Memorial for Jim will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 pm November 8, 2025, at the Eagles Club in Jeffersonville.
