Obituary

Emma Jane Schick, a vibrant spirit with a heart as wide as the Kentucky sky, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength. She was born on Novermber 7, 1944, and called Campbellsville, Kentucky, her home. Emma was a devoted mother survived by Stephen Craig Shick Sr and Stacey Darlene McGuffin, a loving grandmother to Stephen C. Shick Jr., Crystal Schick, Sara Hoff, Devin McGuffin, JoAnna Welch, Rachel Schick, Nathan Schick, Trevor McGuffin, Rebecca Davis, Carter McGuffin, Grace Mahan, and Lydia Schick, and 10 great-grandchildren. As well as a cherished sister, and a loyal friend. All of whom will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Emma had a passion and found peace and joy in fishing, often casting her line in quiet waters, and she loved her bingo, where her competitive spirit came alive. Her life was filled with simple pleasures, strong values, and an infectious laugh that will be sorely missed. Though she may be gone from our sight, she remains forever in our hearts. Visitation will be held at Meadow View Baptist Church (1211 Elkhorn Road, Campbellsville, Ky 42718) on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.  The Memorial Service will begin at 4:00 pm. Fellowship will follow in the fellowship hall behind the church.  This is open to friends and family of Emma.
