Debra Jean (Woods) Whitler

Debra Jean "Debbie" Whitler passed away on August 18, 2025, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, the city where she grew up and spent her life. She was born on August 9, 1963.

Debbie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth Whitler, and her cherished son, James Lee Whitler. Along with her parents, Evelyn Moore and James Hack. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Kendra Lynn Whitler; her sisters, Bobbie Jo and Vicki; her brothers, Binky and Larry; many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly; and two wonderful grandchildren who brought great joy to her life. 

Known for her creativity and talent with crafts, Debbie was recognized by many over the years for her artistic spirit. Her caring and kind heart touched those around her deeply. Her love for her children and late husband was unwavering and profound.
