On Friday, September 5, 2025, Debra Marie LaFave, loving mother and sister passed away at the age of 61 in Louisville, KY. Debra was born on June 28, 1964 in Highland Park, MI to Hank & Carol Luokkanen. She had four children who she loved very much: daughter Jennifer Dore and sons Jason LaFave, Jeffrey LaFave & James LaFave. Her grandchildren Nathan, Annabelle and Emily Dore warmed her heart with joy. Debra was preceded in death by her parents Hank and Carol, her baby son Jason LaFave and her sister Peggy Cook. She is survived by her children Jennifer, Jeffrey and James; three grandchildren Nathan, Annabelle and Emily Dore; siblings, Yvonne (Jerry) Balk, Steve Luokkanen, Gary (Kim) Luokkanen and Jeff (Kathy) Luokkanen; and four nieces and five nephews. Cremation was chosen and no services are scheduled.
