Belinda Metcalf, age 54, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on December 25, 2025. She was born on October 12, 1971.
Belinda was a deeply loving daughter, mother and grandmother, and her friends and family was the center of her world. Nothing brought her greater joy than caring for and spending meaningful time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her love was constant, gentle, and unconditional.
Known for her kind heart and caring spirit, Belinda always looked for ways to help others. Whether it was offering support to someone in need or taking time to feed the homeless, she gave freely of herself and expected nothing in return. Her compassion left a lasting impact on everyone she met.
Belinda is survived by her beloved son, Jacob Metcalf, his wife Sydney Metcalf, her cherished grandchildren, Isaiah and Michael Metcalf, her brother Brian Cox, her nephew Nicholas Williams and his wife Taylor Williams, and by her close friends who meant very much to her and were an important part of her life.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Judith Cox, and her brother, Marty Williams.
Belinda has been cremated. Service details will be announced at a later date, with a celebration of life gathering planned in the future to honor a woman whose love, kindness, and selflessness will never be forgotten.
