William Earl Shelton Jr (Petey) of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday April 27, 2026. Petey was a loving and caring father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He enjoyed watching survivalist videos, collecting survival gear, spending time with his son, and listening to music and singing along.

He was born on March 2, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Mary (Soeder) Shelton. He is preceded in death by his Father, William E. Shelton, Sr. , Mother, Mary D. Shelton, and Sister, Theresa M. (Shelton) Franklin.

Petey is survived by his son Eric Shelton; Niece, Amanda Walker; Nephew, James Hunt (Mikey); Great Nieces, Delaney Walker, Kenadie Walker, and Presley Walker; as well as a host of cousins, uncle, aunt, extended family, and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Memorial Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday May 2 at Brookview Baptist Church, 4323 S Brook St Louisville, Ky 40214.
