Regina Mae Righthouse

Born in Scottsburg, Indiana, November 10, 1949 was called home to be with Jesus May 8, 2026 at 9:41 a.m. at Baptist Health in New Albany, Indiana.

Regina was retired from General Electric where she shared many laughs and meals she would cater. Regina also worked at KFC and Save A Step where she loved to cook ( Boy was she good at it ) and socialize.

Regina had a huge heart and never met a stranger. She enjoyed family gatherings and playing poker with her siblings, gardening and cooking shows. Regina had a contagious laugh, a quirky and sassy attitude that had everyone quessing what was coming next.

Regina will be missed immensely by her loving daughter Dawn ( Jerry ) Johnson as well as her devoted and loving granddaughter Morgan ( Terry ) Conway, her handsome grandson Jesse ( Haley ) Johnson, Marc ( Cassandra ) Mikesell Jr., her beautiful granddaughter Olivia ( Keaton ) Resch. Regina was blessed with 11 great grandchildren. All of which she wished she could have spent more time with. Great grands Leland, Kynlee, Lilah and Bailey Conway as well as Andrew Johnson lit her whole world. Regina will also be missed by sisters Yvonne Lintz, Bonita McWilliams as well as brothers Dennis and Larry Righthouse, along with many nieces and nephews.

Regina is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Fern Righthouse,sister Diana Walton, brothers James, Tony and Steve Righthouse. As well as great grandsons Christian Beswick and Andy Johnson, and 2 angel babies.

Per our loved ones wishes cremation will take place with no services.

We ask that you share stories and keep her memory alive.
