Kimberly Anne Rogers Krahel, 59, of New Salisbury, Indiana passed away peacefully on Saturday April 25, 2026. Kim was born in Bellaire, Ohio on October 6th of 1966, the daughter of the late Nelson and Susie Meager Rogers. 

She is survived by her husband Greg Krahel and son Derek Krahel of the home, and daughter Devon (Erik) Roberts of Arab, Alabama. Also to cherish her memory are her brother Nelson (Beth) Rogers, sisters Deanna Kimble and Kathy (Kelly) Robinson, father-in-law Bernard and mother-in-law Geri, brothers-in-law Jeff, Mike, and Eric (Jennifer), and uncle Bobby (Lola) Meager. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends and her special companion dog Woody.

Kim graduated in 1985 from St. Johns Central High School in Bellaire, Ohio. She owned her own business SoIN Creations featuring hand made wooden crafts. She was also an avid photographer. She especially enjoyed camping with her family. She loved dogs and rescued many over the years.

Memorial donations can be made in Kim’s memory to Hosparus Health of Southern Indiana at 502 Hausfeldt Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being finalized.
