Kevin Leo Thornberry (61), of Crestwood, KY, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026 surrounded by friends and family.

Always willing to lend a hand, Kevin was known for his resilience and his humor. He had an indomitable spirit when conditions were tough and made light of them in defiance. His favorite times were those spent at work or play with family and in the spirited company of loyal friends. Those of us who knew him well will miss him dearly. He is gone much too soon.

Kevin is survived by his siblings, Thomas Wayne (Mary) of Paris, KY; Evelyn Rachelle Joly (Greg) of Crestwood, KY; Esther Louise Jackson (Bruce) of Shepherdsville, KY; Gerald Lawrence (Dana) of Louisville, KY; and sister-in-law, Rebecca Stone Thornberry of Marinette, WI. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Lawrence Thornberry (1939-2017) and Rachel Ann Thornberry (1941-2022, née Edwards) and his brother, John Patrick (1962-2025).
