Joy Aliece Williams, 68, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026. She was born on September 17, 1957, and lived a life marked by independence, compassion, and unwavering care for those she loved.

Joy was a devoted Christian and faithful member of Little Flock Baptist Church. Her faith was an important part of her life and guided the kindness and generosity she showed to others. Throughout her career as an insurance agent, she earned the respect of those she worked with through her dedication, professionalism, and genuine concern for the people she served.

Joy was a loving wife to H. Lee Williams and a devoted mother to Tommy Jones, Kimberly Arias, and Lindsey Brannon. She was also a caring stepmother to Harry Tyson, Mark Tyson, and Daniel Williams. Nothing brought her greater joy than her family, especially her three beloved grandchildren, whom she treasured deeply.

Known for her independent spirit and caring heart, Joy was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, or provide comfort to those in need. Her strength, warmth, and steadfast love touched the lives of many and will be remembered by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis Jaggers and Lucille Jaggers, and her brother, Larry Jaggers. She is survived by her husband, H. Lee Williams; her children, Tommy Jones, Kimberly Arias, and Lindsey Brannon; her stepsons, Harry Tyson, Mark Tyson, and Daniel Williams; her three grandchildren; her brothers, Dennis Jaggers and Tim Jaggers; and many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

A memorial service celebrating Joy’s life will be held at Little Flock Baptist Church, 5500 N. Preston Hwy, on April 6, 2026. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., with the memorial service beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Though she is no longer with us, Joy’s legacy of faith, love, strength, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
