John Stephen Bayers, 71, passed away on March 29, 2024. He was a graduate of Holy Spirit School '67, St. Xavier High School '71 and had a degree in French and Philosophy from the University of Louisville. Steve enjoyed several hobbies but especially fostering many pets. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Jane Bayers, and his sister Sharon Bayers Cassidy. He is survived by 4 nieces and nephews and numerous cousins and friends. There will be a memorial mass at 10:00 am Friday April 12th at Holy Spirit Church, 3345 Lexington Road.
