Hobert David Langley Sr., 72 years old, died at his home in Charlestown Indiana on September 4, 2026 after an extended battle with cancer.

Hoby retired after 30 years at Phillip Morris. He enjoyed going to the beach and was very mechanically inclined and loved tinkering in his garage. In his youth, he was an avid dancer and was proud of being named the house dancer at flaherty's.

Hobert was preceded in death by his parents, Juanith Myrtle Parrish and Hobert Gordon Langley, his brothers Charles Lee Langley, Stephen Michael Langley and Wendell Parrish, and his son Kevin Lee Langley.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Lisa Gionet Langley, his sister Shirley Williams (Steve), sons Hobert David Langley Jr.(Jennifer) and Stephen Michael Langley Sr. (Tammy) and his daughter Tara Langley. Also his 6 grandchildren Miranda Langley, Marisa Jaggers (Jacob), Megan Langley (Bradley), Emileigh Barksdale (Phillip), Steven Langley Jr. (Meadow), and Kayleigh Langley and 9 great-grandchildren, his nephews Richard Skidmore, Chris Langley, Wendell Adams, his niece Tasha Adams, sister-in-laws Laura Skidmore and Terri Parrish, his good friend Sandra Langley and a host of honorary nephews and grandkids.

He will be cremated. A get-together for family and friends will be held to honor Hobert at a later date.
