David Lawrence Williamson, 51, born on August 4, 1974, in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on December 18, 2025, in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.

A proud native of Louisville, David began his education at St. Helen and later graduated from St. Xavier High School. Throughout his life, he remained deeply connected to the city where he was born and raised.

Dave was known for his vibrant spirit and infectious sense of humor. His love for life was evident in everything he did from the music that filled his days to the open roads he explored on his motorcycle. A loyal sports fan, he cheered passionately for the University of Kentucky—“Go Big Blue!“. Those who knew David will remember him most for his infectious laughter and playful spirit. He was always cracking jokes and making people laugh, he had a gift for lifting spirits and creating moments of lightness wherever he went.

David’s Christian faith was an important part of his life and provided him with strength and guidance.

David is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Lauren Nicole Kirby and Gracelynn Patricia Marie Williamson; and his sister, Lisa Marie Williamson.

He is also leaves behind his 3 dogs; Abby, Bella, and Sparky they meant the world to him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Willis Williamson, and his mother, Sharon P. (Simon) Williamson Will.

David’s Burial will be held at Brookland Cemetery on Friday May 22 at 2:00 PM EST.
