On May 15, 2026, Charles Henry Scott V, passed away after a long and hard-fought battle with addiction. He was 41.

To the world, Little Chip was a son, a brother, and a father. But to those who knew him best, he was a gentle soul who loved deeply and tried so hard to overcome the heavy burden of addiction. Little Chip was actively working on his recovery, seeking the light, and striving to be the best version of himself for his family.

Though addiction stole years from him, it could never erase the kind, loving, and vibrant person he was at his core. He was a devoted father who adored his children, a loving son, and a loyal brother. We take comfort in knowing that Little Chip is finally at peace, free from the daily struggles he fought so bravely.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, sister, children: Belinda Scott, Genesis, Nevaeh, and David Lynch; and long-time partner: Shaneice Billingsley.

To all his friends in recovery, please always remember that this disease is Cunning, Baffling and Powerful. It doesn’t discriminate.
