Brenda Kay Shuck, has passed away at the age of 71. Born on July 9, 1952, in Louisville, Kentucky, Brenda's life was a testament to the strength and resilience that define the Bluegrass State. She departed from this world on February 9, 2024, in the comforting surroundings of her home in Bethlehem, Kentucky.

Brenda was the beloved daughter of the late Gayle Preston Shuck and Ruby Katherine Shuck (Wyant). Brenda's legacy is carried on through her devoted family. She is survived by her loving children, Jodi McAlister and Jason McAlister, who were the pride and joy of her life. Brenda's sisters, Terri Dee's (Gary) and Donna Robinson, and her brother, Lonnie Shuck (Bonnie), will remember her as a guiding light and steadfast confidant. Her grandchildren, Tanner Ashby and Chance Ashby, and great-grandchild, Nolan Ashby, will continue to be inspired by her stories, her laughter, and her love.  She was preceded in death by her great granddaughter, Alayna.

Brenda's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her spirit remains a guiding force. Her unwavering commitment to her family, her work, and her community will not be forgotten. Brenda Kay Shuck's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, service, and the joy of everyday moments. She will be profoundly missed, yet her memory will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she touched.
